Peter was at The Older Peoples Information Centre (TOPIC) House today. Peter regularly visits the House on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in his role as Older Peoples champion for the city.

A voluntary management committee of nine helps to run Topic House and welcomes people from all over Swansea. The centre gives advice to people on a range of issues such as finance and entitlement to benefits and also organises regular activities including coffee mornings, luncheon clubs and Tai Chi.

Peter was introducing members of SIFE from Swansea University to the staff at TOPIC. Peter often uses his community knowledge to network local like minded organisations to each other. SIFE is a student organisation that sets up a sustainable community based projects.

Peter thought it would be a good idea to put the two organisations in touch and is pictured with SIFE members in the garden at TOPIC.
